STRO Precinct Captains Endorse Dan Proft for Governor
The Schaumburg Township Republican Organization recently endorsed Dan Proft for Governor. Proft, from Wheaton, Illinois, is a well-known political commentator for WLS-AM radio. He also writes for a number of conservative publications and is a frequent guest speaker on local and national public affairs shows. A graduate of Northwestern, Proft went on to earn a J.D. from Loyola. Over the course of his career, he founded a number of successful public affairs and strategic communications firms and publications. Since 1994, he has run numerous political campaigns and served in various leadership positions in state and municipal government. STRO also endorsed the following candidates for 2010 races:
