It’s hard to argue with the wisdom of Yankee great Yogi Berra especially when it comes to predicting elections and the mood of voters.  But it does make it easier to predict victory if you select quality candidates to represent the Republican Party in the General Election…especially this year.  As Committeeman, I am the Party Chairman here in Schaumburg Township.  I have said hundreds of times to our Party faithful that if we nominate quality candidates…we should win.    This year, we have endorsed highly qualified and ethical candidates with clear vision and the backbone to say “ENOUGH”.

Our precinct captains, the Party’s foot soldiers who go door to door to help elect our candidates have endorsed an extensive list of candidates, many who never have run for office before.  Our choice for Governor and Comptroller have bucked the popular trend of nominating well seasoned candidates.  Our choices for State Representative in the 44th, 56th and 66th Legislative District are a Mayor of a well run town, a young conservative attorney and a former State Rep who served as  Major General of the Illinois National Guard.  All advocating reducing our taxes and state spending with a vision of making Illinois the number one state in the nation for job creation…not the 48th ranked state that the Democrats have given us.
