Schaumburg Township Republican Organization Food Drive

On November 18th, the first cold day of the long winter ahead, Schaumburg Township Republicans started what will become an annual public-service event: The GOP Fall Food Drive. Committeeman Mike Adelizzi organized this event, to help ensure that the Schaumburg Township Food Pantry’s shelves are fully stocked before this Holiday season. Even in our own area, there are less fortunate families and individuals who rely on Township services. The food drive was very successful; through the generosity of patrons of Dominick’s at the corner of Wise and Roselle roads, 20 shopping carts full of food, baby ‘essentials’ and staples were collected!

Anita Scott-Forte and Mike Adelizzi are amazed at the overwhelming generosity they saw from shoppers. A dozen over-flowing shopping carts by 1 PM, and 3 more hours to go!

Senator Millner, Bob Lyons, and Anita Scott-Forte volumteer to ask Domick's patrons for food donations just before Thankgiving to asssit the less fortunate.
