Movie Synopsis:  Based on a novel by Tom Clancy: The Russians build a nuclear submarine with only one mission, to launch nuclear weapons anywhere in the world. The problem is it has a silent propulsion system which make the sub almost impossible to detect. It’s captain, Marco Ramius is the best electric boat commander they have and he is assigned as captain of the deadly Red October. This sets the stage for a cat and mouse kind of chase in the icey waters of the North Atlantic being tracked by the USS Dallas, SSN-700, Los Angeles class nuclear attack Submarine. It plays along like an underwater chess game with a dangerous subplot that will hold your attention. (Running time 135min) Rated PG
